Glasgow City are delighted to announce that first team goalkeepers Lee Alexander and Erin Clachers have both extended their contracts to the end of season 2023.

Scotland number 1 Alexander, who first joined City in 2008 becomes another club legend in the last week to commit her future to the club.

She said, “I am delighted to extend my stay at City and looking forward to the next few years and continuing to be a part of something special creating more amazing memories.”

Clachers, a successful product of the Glasgow City academy said, “ I have had a great time since joining the youth academy in 2014 and I am very happy and honoured to be given the opportunity to commit my next 2 ½ years to the club. I have loved learning and developing and I’m looking forward to that continuing with this great group of players.”

Head Coach Scott Booth said, “We have been in a great position as a club these last few years with two really top keepers battling for the jersey each week. They spur each other on in training and have a great work ethic as well as being brilliant characters around the club. I am really delighted they have both committed to the next stage of our journey at City. Without doubt they are two of the finest keepers in the League and I am really pleased they will continue to be wearing our colours.”
