Glasgow City made it a week of wins as they beat Hibernian 3-0 in the SWPL’s early afternoon kick off.

Goals from Priscila Chincilla (20), Niamh Farrelly (69) and Lauren Davidson (90+2) would hand City all three points at a chilly Tony Macaroni Arena in Livingston.

Grant Scott welcomed back Chincilla to the squad, while Hayley Lauder and Mairead Fulton came back into the starting XI.

A quiet opening period saw the first chance fell to Tyler Dodds, but her left-footed drive deflected wide of the Hibs goal.

Chincilla went close seconds later, forcing English into a superb save from close range as City began to press.

However, the Costa Rican didn’t need to wait much longer to fire the side back in the league when her long range diagonal flew beyond the reach of Hibs ‘keeper.

Aoife Covill could have double the lead on the half hour mark after dancing through the opposition defence, but her low drive trickled agonisingly wide.

With City continuing to pressure, Lauder’s speculator drive fizzed centimetres over Hibs’ bar.

A quiet opening period to the second half almost exploded into life when Colvill played a terrific ball into the onrushing Julia Molin, but Amy Gallacher’s last ditch tackle was inch perfect.

It would be a trademark Niamh Farrelly header that would settle the game though, as she nodded home an inch perfect cross from Lauder twenty minutes from time.

With the home side pushing to get back into the game, substitutes Clare Shine and Lauren Davidson almost combined on the break to put City further ahead, but the latter’s shot went agonisingly wide of English’s post.

Jenna Clark almost added to the scoring two, but Rachael Boyle cleared well off the line from her late header.

City would eventually add a third when Lauder played a delightful ball through to Ode Fulutudilu, who’s shot would connection off the inside past before falling to Davidson to slam home her ninth goal of an already outstanding campaign.

Hibs: English, Muir, Hunter, Eddie, Cavanagh, Gallacher, Notley, Murray, Coyle, Boyle, Morrison.

City: Alexander, Molin, Clark, Walsh, Agata Filipa, Dodds (Davidson, 76), Lauder, Farrelly, Chincilla (Fulutudilu, 76), Fulton, Colvill (Shine, 64).
