Glasgow City are pleased to announce Callum Patterson as our new full time Head of Media & Content.

Callum will continue to lead the club media team along with working closer with the wider City family, including Glasgow City Foundation and partners to deliver our key messages on topics such as our mental health and equality campaigns.

Commenting, Chief Executive Laura Montgomery said:

“I am absolutely delighted to be able to appoint Callum full-time into this new role. From joining us as a fresh faced young man back in 2013, volunteering his time, I have seen him develop into an outstanding commentator, video and content specialist. I think we have both been great for each other as we have grown and learned together over all of these years and he thoroughly deserves this opportunity to do full-time what he loves.

“As our growth continues, it is vital we have the best personnel in all positions on and off the field and I know Callum will continue to do a fantastic job for Glasgow City.”

Commenting on his new position, Callum Patterson said:

“This is a dream come true! From volunteering to do a bit of commentary for the newly formed highlights packages in my first year at university, I’ve grown my media experience and my role at Glasgow City over time to lead the media team while working a day job or three!

“I have loved covering and seeing the Scottish women’s game grow, and seeing City grow too. After eight years I can now focus on all things Glasgow City and work even closer with a fabulous squad, staff and great team of volunteers within our media team to bring City fans even closer to the heart of this club.”
