Glasgow City secured all three points in the Petershill Park sun after scoring six against Motherwell
A double from Lauren Davidson and Priscila Chinchilla along with first SWPL goals of the season for Megan Foley and Mairead Fulton secured victory for City.
Eileen Gleeson made just the one change from the side that beat Aberdeen in midweek with Julia Molin replacing Agata Filipa.
City started the game brightly with Davidson having the first shot on goal for the home side but her effort was deflected wide. A few minutes later, she would get on the scoresheet.
A great ball from Chinchilla found Dodds in acres of space down the right wing and she was able to drive towards the box before delivering a low cross which found Davidson who steered the ball into the bottom left corner out of the reach of Ciara Duff in the Motherwell goal.
The lead was doubled seven minutes later when a short corner was played to Foley on the corner of the box and her cross evaded everyone in the Motherwell box before nestling in the far left corner of the net.
City made it three and Davidson got her second of the afternoon after 25 minutes after a lovely piece of play by the hosts. Dodds delivered a cross from the right wing which found Lauder. The captain controlled the ball in the centre of the penalty area before laying it off to Davidson on the left who cut back inside and drilled the ball low into the bottom corner.
Lee Alexander was called into action at the half hour mark to save from a volley from Carla Boyce.
Chinchilla was causing Motherwell problems as she broke from a visitor corner but five defenders got back to deny the forward from getting a shot away.
That was the warning sign for the away side and Chinchilla was to make Motherwell pay with two goals in five minutes. Her first came on the 36th minute as she cut inside from the edge of the box and with her right foot curled the ball into the top right corner.
Five minutes later, Chinchilla would produce another spectacular strike as she put the ball through a Motherwell players leg before firing the ball from 20 yards into the top left corner.
The home side started the second half the way they had finished the first with Chinchilla going close from a header along with Davidson.
Erin Clachers came on as a half time substitute for City and was called into action to make a smart save at her front post as Motherwell. Clachers made another fine save a minute later to deny a long range effort from Kaela McDonald-Nguah.
Mairead Fulton rounded out the scoring for the afternoon with a terrific strike from distance for her first goal of the season.
