We will begin our 2026/27 ScottishPower Women's Premier League campaign with a home against Celtic on Sunday 16th August at Petershill Park.
The first phase of the league season will see us compete in eighteen fixtures, home and away, against all nine sides before the league splits into championship and relegation groups in spring of next year.
Some Key Dates and Information
- As mentioned above we open the season at home to Celtic on Sunday 16th August with our first away trip of the season the following Sunday against Aberdeen at the Balmoral Stadium.
- Spartans have returned to the top flight following their ScottishPower Women's Premier League 2 title success last season. They visit The Peasy on Sunday 20th August before we head to Ainslie Park on Sunday 8th November.
- Celtic are also on the move with Grant Scott's side swapping New Douglas Park for the Kirkintilloch Community complex, we visit there on Sunday 17th January 2027.
- Ainslie Park will be the new home of Hearts, with the Edinburgh club swapping Oriam for Pilton. We visit the Jambos on Sunday 27th September while our final game before the winter break will be at home to Andy Thomson's side on Sunday 20th December.
- We currently have one scheduled midweek fixture at home to Rangers on Wednesday 21st October.
- The final fixture of the the first phase of the league season will see us host Hibernian on Sunday 21st February 2027.
As always, fixtures may be subject to change, and we will be doing everything we can to ensure as many eyes as possible are not only on Glasgow City, but also on Scottish women's football as a whole.
