As we prepare to return to Petershill Park this Sunday, ready to compete on all fronts, the players of Glasgow City wanted to share the following letter.
''Our stories may all be different, but we are united.
United in the same way every player who has pulled on the shirt since 1998 has been. The players and staff who have come before us, leading the way. Always striving for more. For greatness. An independent club championing women and girls everywhere.
Today, it’s time to write a new chapter.
Since 1998, each generation of City squad has etched its name in our history. Every domestic honour won. Success that inspired and brought us here.
The European stage. A platform which has provided us with some of our most famous moments. This season, we experienced that ourselves; an unforgettable night at the Peasy against HB Køge. Playing in front of you all and truly feeling what it means to fight for this badge.
Our history set the standard of what it means to play for Glasgow City. To win. To blaze the trails. To empower our game in Scotland and beyond.
But this club does not stand still, and neither do we.
Now, it is our turn to carry that legacy forward. To be the next authors of this special story. Our chapter. We don’t look back; we honour what has come before us.

More opportunities to create moments that will live in the memory of this club. Moments that we will fight for every time we step on to the pitch together.
Together, as a squad, staff, family, friends, and of course supporters, we have already experienced so much. The highs and lows. The big performances. The lessons learned. All of it has shaped this group and strengthened our belief in what we know we are capable of achieving.
