Aberdeen v Glasgow City - SWPL Matchday Nine Preview

After securing safe passage into the Quarter-Finals of the Sky Sports Cup last Sunday Glasgow City are back in Scottish Women's Premier League action travelling north to face Aberdeen at the Balmoral Stadium.

Last Time Out

Goals from Wilma Forsblom, Samantha van Diemen and an own goal were enough for Leanne Ross' side to see off a late onslaught from Hearts at Oriam as City booked a spot in the next round away to Celtic.

Meanwhile at the Balmoral a double from captain Hannah Stewart was enough for the managerless Dons to see off SWPL2 Gartcairn, they now face another SWPL2 side, Boroughmuir Thistle, in the Quarter-Finals.
