Academy Prospects Continue Loan Development

Academy Prospects Continue Loan Development

We can confirm that three of our Academy prospects will continue their development on loan at their respective clubs for the remainder of the 2025 season.

Rachel Murchie, who made her Glasgow City debut last season against Hamilton Academical will remain on loan at fellow SWPL side Montrose and has made thirteen appearances so far for Craig Feroz's side.

16-year-old forward Cara Gray, and 17-year-old defender Mia Scott, will continue their spells with SWPL2 Kilmarnock having both become regular starters for Jim Chapman's promotion chasers.

Gray has already scored ten times this term, including the third during Thursday night's Ayrshire derby victory over Ayr United. Both she and Scott have featured in the SWPL2 Team of the Week this season with Gray also nominated for Player of the Month in October.

Head of Player Development Keiron McAneny is excited to see how the players progress this term:

'I'm delighted that we have been able to continue our young players development within the SWPL and thank Montrose and Kilmarnock in continuing to provide our up-and-coming talent with a platform to shine.”

”I'm looking forward to monitoring their continued progress in the weeks and months to come as they couple real game experience with their time spent around our first team training environment.''
