Amy Muir signs One-Year Contract Extension

We are very happy to share that co-captain and Scotland international, Amy Muir has signed a new one-year contract extension.

Since joining the club from Hibernian in 2022, Muir has made over 100 appearances, playing a key role in securing both this season's Sky Sports Cup and the 2022/23 Scottish Women's Premier League title.

At the start of the 2025/26 season the full-back was appointed club co-captain and has established herself in Melissa Andreatta's SWNT squad and will join up with the squad ahead of two crucial World Cup qualifiers at the end of this current campaign.

She was also recognised by her peers as a member of the PFA Scotland Team of the Year and at last night's club Player of the Year Awards where she was voted Supporters' Player of the Year.

Speaking on her new deal, Amy said: "I'm delighted to sign on for another year. I've really enjoyed my time at the club for the last four years and I've still got more to give. I'm really excited for another season with the team."

Head Coach Leanne Ross, was pleased to secure the defenders services for the 2026/27 campaign.

''I'm happy to have Amy committed to the club for another season. We have watched her develop into a senior figure amongst the squad and I look forward to seeing her continue to grow at Glasgow City.''
