This Sunday it is a return to cup action as we travel to face Celtic at their new home of New Douglas Park in the Sky Sports Cup Quarter Final.
Last Time Out
We continued our good run of league form courtesy of a 3-0 victory over Partick Thistle. A Brenna Lovera double and a late Wilma Forsblom goal securing a victory that kept us top of the table.
Celtic's busy run continued with a 5-0 victory over Queen's Park this past midweek. Goals from Murphy Agnew, Kelly Clark, Lucy Ashworth-Clifford, Megan Cross and an own goal seeing Elena Sadiku's side move up to fourth in the table.
Sky Sports Cup So Far
A 3-2 victory away to Hearts ensured our passage into the quarter final's as goals from Samantha van Diemen, Wilma Forsblom and an Eilidh Shore made the difference despite a late Jambos charge.
Celtic secured their Quarter-Final spot with a 7-0 victory away to Montrose as doubles from Kit Loferski and Saoirse Noonan set them on the way.
Previous Meeting
Celtic 1-0 Glasgow City - SWPL - 18th August 2024
A Chloe Craig penalty was the only difference the last time two sides met in a game the visitors were unlucky not to take something from.
