We can confirm that Chloe Warrington will depart Glasgow City following four seasons at the club at the expiry of her contract.
The full-back signed from Celtic in the summer of 2022 and would be part of the squad that would claim the 2022/23 ScottishPower Women's Premier League season.
She would continue to be a key part of Leanne Ross' defensive unit and scored her first goal for the club away to Aberdeen in October 2024.
It would be Chloe's goal against Hibernian at Meadowbank that would secure our spot in this season's Sky Sports Cup Final and she leaves the club with a winners medal from following our victory over Rangers in the subsequent final.
Chloe had the following message to share with supporters on her departure.
''After 4 years, the time has come for me to say goodbye to Glasgow City.
I want to say a massive thank you to all the fans for the support you’ve given me throughout my time at the club. Through every high and low, your support never went unnoticed.
I’m grateful to all the teammates I’ve shared the pitch with and this club has given me friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.
I want to thank all the staff for everything they’ve done for me over the last four years. I’m incredibly proud to have been part of this club and to have shared so many special memories with you all.
Glasgow City will always have a special place in my heart.
🧡''
Everyone at Glasgow City wishes Chloe all the best on her next adventure, and she will always be welcome at The Peasy when she returns.
