Glasgow City exited the Sky Sports Cup after a 3-0 defeat to Celtic at the Excelsior Stadium.
Goals from Natalie Ross (6), Amy Gallagher (52) and Kit Loferski (72) secured the win for the home side.
Early chances for both Hayley Lauder and Lauren Davidson almost saw City take a very early lead but it in Celtic's first attack it was Ross who would nod home to open scoring.
City would continue to press in search of equaliser and almost got back on level terms through Brenna Lovera after some excellent forward play with Emily Whelan.
Lee Gibson would then be forced in a fantastic save as a near post deflected almost saw a Celtic effort creep into the top corner of the net before further City chances fell to Whelan before the break.
Leanne Ross's side were dealt a hammer blow at the start of the second period though when they failed to clear a corner kick and Gallagher tapped home from close range to double her side's lead before good pace for Loferski saw her seal the points as Celtic progressed to the semi finals.
