Dear Green and Glasgow City Launch Coffee Collaboration

Dear Green and Glasgow City Launch Coffee Collaboration

Glasgow City FC and Dear Green Coffee Roasters have joined forces to launch a first of its kind coffee collaboration, with £1 from every pack sold going directly to the Glasgow City Foundation.

The partnership brings together two independent, women-founded Glasgow organisations with a shared belief that creating a more equitable world starts with where we choose to invest today.

GRAB YOUR BAG NOW AND INVEST IN THE NEXT GENERATION

And that thinking runs through the coffee itself. From bean to the women and girls who will benefit from every pack sold. The coffee was chosen by Glasgow City players Lisa Evans, Linda Motlhalo and Emma Brownlie during a tasting at Dear Green’s Glasgow roastery and is sourced ethically and responsibly from the KCRS Women’s Cooperative in Rwanda.

The packaging takes inspiration from Glasgow City’s 2026/27 home shirt, following Dear Green’s roastery playing host to the club’s home kit launch earlier this summer.
Dear Green founder Lisa Lawson is also a founding member of The City Collective,
Glasgow City FC's network of women-led businesses.

A partnership built on a shared belief that businesses have both the opportunity and the responsibility to create positive change, investing in women and girls while helping to build a fairer society. ‘Since becoming a member of City Collective, I've become a solid fan of Glasgow City FC, and find it so empowering to witness women support women. This coffee launch unites two Scottish woman-led organisations driven by passion, and I’m so proud that Dear Green could make this collaboration a reality.

Also donating to the next generation of sportswomen at Glasgow City FC's Foundation, whilst also supporting the incredible coffee from women producers of the KCRS cooperative in Rwanda that I was lucky enough to visit earlier this year.’

Glasgow City Foundation Academy Manager and former player, Sarah Crilly was looking forward to the impact that the new partnership will have.

‘It’s exciting to have this support for the work we do at the Glasgow City Foundation. We exist because we believe football can improve lives, build confidence and open new opportunities for women and girls, both on the pitch and off it.

The women’s game continues to grow but the reality is there are still challenges everyday so to have the support of Dear Green and all those who will be purchasing the coffee means a lot as we continue to make a tangible difference in our community.’

The coffee is available for purchase now for £14.90 from the Glasgow City and Dear Green websites, while we will also have a limited number available on matchdays.

The collaboration also aims to introduce Glasgow City FC to people who may not yet think of themselves as football fans and as a result growing the women's game.

For those who have not grown up around the game, football can sometimes feel difficult to enter. Coffee offers a different starting point, bringing together two communities through an everyday product and a shared belief in equality, purpose and doing business differently.

Every pack bought will help support the Glasgow City Foundation’s work, while telling a bigger story about where coffee comes from, who produces it and what can happen when women-led organisations and their communities choose to invest in women at every stage.
