City are back in UEFA Women's Europa Cup action this week, making the trip to Denmark to face HB Køge in the first leg of our Second Qualifying Round clash with a place in the Round of 16 at stake.
Last Time Out
We progressed to the Second Qualifying Round after defeating Irish champions Athlone Town 6-0 over two legs.
Both the home and away fixtures ended 3-0, with Amy Anderson, Linda Motlhalo, and Lisa Forrest netting at the Peasy before a first goal of the season for Emily Whelan and a brace from Nicole Kozlova secured a victory in Athlone.
Ahead of our trip to Denmark, we were in Sky Sports Cup action, defeating Hamilton Academical 5-0 at New Douglas Park to secure safe passage to the quarter-finals.
Previous Meeting
Our Second Qualifying Round clash will be our first-ever meeting with Køge.
However, we are familiar with Danish opposition on the European stage, with our last trip to Denmark being our Round of 16 Champions League contest against Brønbdy in October 2019.
We claimed a 2-0 win at the Brøndby Stadion, before a 2-0 defeat in the second leg at Petershill. It would go on to be a famous night at the Peasy as we reached the quarter-finals of the competition for the second time in our history after a thrilling penalty shootout.

Nearest Transport Links: The stadium is located in the centre of Køge. There are several bus stops near the ground. For fans staying in Copenhagen, catch the train to Ølby Station, with the stadium then being a 20-minute walk away.
