A hard-fought match at Petershill Park saw City claim a 1-1 draw with Sporting CP in the first leg of the UEFA Women's Europa Cup Round of 16.
Natalia Wróbel opened the scoring at the Peasy in the 20th minute to put us ahead, before Sporting CP levelled things up late on in the first half.
Tonight's result means the tie is level and with everything to play for ahead of next week's second leg in Portugal, where the winner will prevail to the quarter-final.
Match Action from Petershill
Against Sporting CP, there were five changes from Sunday's Sky Sports Cup win against Aberdeen, with Lisa Evans, Lana Golob, Emily Whelan, Nicole Kozlova and Abi Harrison introduced to the starting XI.
We fashioned the first opportunity of the game and it fell to Wróbel, who saw her powerful strike inside the box blocked by a Sporting defender.
The visitors' maiden chance arrived after 10 minutes when the ball was cut back to Telma Encarnação, and she hit a curling shot over Lee Gibson's bar.
It was Wróbel who was at the centre of our next effort, this time hitting a powerful drive goalwards which flashed just wide of the post.
And it would be the Polish midfielder who deservedly opened the scoring midway through the first half. Following some great play by our forwards, the ball dropped to the feet of Wróbel and she fired it home to give us the lead.

With five minutes left to go in the first half, Gibson made an incredibly-timed punch to clear a dangerous ball that was whipped into the area before it could reach a green and white shirt.
And on the stroke of half-time, our captain made a remarkable fingertip save to push Daniela Arques' strike from range over the bar, ensuring we went into the break 1-0 up.
In the second half, we create a good chance when the ball was sent into the box and bobbled around the feet of Harrison, who couldn't get a clean shot away, before Wróbel experienced the same with the rebound.
At the other end, Sporting's first opportunities of the second half saw a shot by Beatriz Fonseca fizz wide of Gibson's near post, before Carolina Santiago missed the target from distance.
After a fairly even spell, City would be the next to have a go when Linda Motlhalo found space to unleash a shot from 20 yards out which called goalkeeper Anna Wellman into action.
However, it would be the visitors who found the back of the net with 15 minutes left to go. A corner was sent in by Arques and Encarnação got on the end of it, firing it beyond Gibson to make it 1-1.
That would be the last of the goals in Springburn, meaning there is everything to play for in next week's second leg.
