Glasgow City FC are pleased to announce Beltagy Analysis Services as our new analysis partner enhancing our first team match preparation.

Strengthening first team analysis has been a key part of Head Coach Eileen Gleeson’s focus for the squad and she is thrilled to have Beltagy on-board:

“I am delighted to have developed a mutually beneficial relationship with Beltagy Football Analysis Services. Not only do they offer a wealth of experience and knowledge within the game but they also reflect the core values of Glasgow City FC in terms of providing opportunity for learning and growth.”

Sayed Farouk, who boasts an incredible amount of experience in technology within football is part of the project and discussed linking up with Glasgow City:

“I’ve worked in sport for over 18 years specifically in the technology side of football clubs. My goal is to transfer knowledge and guide the next generation of passionate Football fans, who are looking to create their own careers within the footballing world. Especially those who could be classed as disadvantaged young people to open up the technological sports world to as much diversity as possible. I am delighted to have introduced Glasgow City FC to Beltagy Football Analysis Services and look forward to working closely with them in the future. I believe that anyone who is passionate about their sport and can prove their dedication can pursue and have an excellent career within the world of football.”

The analysis has formed under the Beltagy name recently and Hassan Beltagy explains more, including the role of getting individuals into football through the company:

"Beltagy Football Analysis Services is a relatively new business with a big vision. We are hardworking and professional, which is reflected in our success in the professional arena. I strongly believe that one reason for this progress is the intensive training we give our analysts by setting the bar high. In fact, this is the reason why we are able to work with clubs internationally. The only criteria we use to select our analysts is their skills and commitment, which gives people from all kinds of backgrounds the opportunity to realise their dream. All in all, our main goal is to provide high-quality analysis to our partner clubs and their coaches."

The company are looking to grow female involvement within their organisation and this is something that matches the ethos of Glasgow City. Something Eileen Gleeson really likes about the partnership:

“I have no doubt that this partnership will continue to drive standards and performance while also developing young analysts within the game in addition to increasing opportunities for female analysts within the game.”

We will follow up with a piece on this on International Women’s Day on Tuesday the 8th of March 2022.
