Glasgow City FC can today confirm that they have agreed a loan deal for goalkeeper Erin Clachers.
The 25 year old who has recently extended her contract with Glasgow City until at least 2027 will join Hibernian for the 24/25 season.
Head of goalkeeping Jamie Ewings had this to say on the loan agreement:
"This loan presents a fantastic opportunity for Erin to gain a consistent run of game time at a strong competitive team in Hibs. We are excited about this next step in her development and confident that she will benefit hugely from the challenges and opportunities that come with playing in a new environment.
“We feel at this stage in her career Erin needs to be playing regularly and shaping her working week around being a starting goalkeeper. I would like to place on record our thanks to Grant, his staff & Hibernian FC for the trust they have placed in taking Erin on loan for the season ahead. We are confident all parties will reap the benefits of this agreement.”
