In recognition of Glasgow City's inclusion in EAFC 25, the Original Trailblazers were invited to the Royal Hospital for Children based in Glasgow's Southside to help children on the ward test out the latest edition of the long-established gaming franchise.
Lee Gibson, Hayley Lauder, Amy Muir, Fiona Brown and Katie Lockwood all took part in the visit with the players spending the morning visiting children across the wards, delivering scarves, signing autographs and, of course, playing the game.
They also helped patients to create their own bespoke Ultimate Team Cards.
Steven Mair, The Royal Hospital for Children's Gamer-in-Residence who facilitated the visit had the following to say, 'It has been a fantastic visit and my hope is that everyone who came along enjoyed it as much as we and the children did too.'
The consoles and games were all funded by the gamers of Scotland through Glasgow Children Hospital's Games for the Weans campaign, a fundraiser to help children in hospital's have access to gaming.
You can find out more at glasgowchildrenshospitalcharity.org/games-for-the-weans.
As a club we were delighted to play a small part in helping patients and staff get their first taste of the game and look forward to seeing the side on consoles across the globe for the season to come.
