Glasgow City help Royal Hospital for Children Launch EAFC26

This season Glasgow City will once again be Scottish women football's sole representative in the latest edition of the hugely popular football gaming franchise, EAFC 26.

To celebrate our inclusion, members of the first team squad were invited to the Royal Hospital for Children based in Glasgow's Southside to help children on the ward test out the latest edition.

Lisa Forrest, Kimberley Smit, Katie Lockwood and Mebae Tanaka all took part in the visit with the players spending the afternoon visiting children across the wards playing the game, signing autographs and designing Ultimate Team cards.

The players also invited one young fan to join us at Petershill Park to be a matchday mascot for an upcoming Scottish Power Women's Premier League game.

The consoles and games were all funded by the gamers of Scotland through Glasgow Children Hospital's Games for the Weans campaign, a fundraiser to help children in hospital's have access to gaming.

With the game launching on Friday it was also a first opportunity for fans to see our history-making home and away kits in game with our iconic 'Love is Love' slogan across it.

As a club we were delighted to play a small part in helping patients and staff get their first taste of the game and look forward to seeing the side on consoles across the globe for the season to come.
