Glasgow City: International round-up

Several Glasgow City players have been in international action for their respective national teams over the past week.

Firstly, Lee Gibson represented Scotland in their double header of Euro 2025 qualifiers against Israel. Gibson started Friday's games at Hampden Park and played the full 90 minutes of a 4-1 win and also played the opening 45 minutes the reverse fixture at the BSC Stadion in Budapest, which Scotland won 5-0.

Both Erin Clachers and Amy Muir started both of Scotland Under-23's games against Denmark earlier in the week. While Denmark won the first game 2-1 between the sides on Thursday, a Scotland side captained by Muir won 3-1 in the second clash between the sides the following Sunday.

Defender Meikayla Moore formed part of the New Zealand Football Ferns summer squad for back-to-back friendlies in Murcia. Moore picked up her 52nd international cap and played 65 minutes of Monday's 4-1 defeat to Japan. Moore was an unused substitute in 2-0 loss - also against Japan - the previous Friday.

Elsewhere, Kinga Kozak was an unused substitute for Poland as they lost to European Championship runners-up Germany 3-1 and 4-1 respectively in back-to-back Euro 2025 qualifying fixtures.
