Glasgow City make donation to Glasgow Women's Aid

We'd like to thank our community for your support during our #NoExcuse campaign as part of the UN Women goal to end violence against women and girls by 2030.

A total of £248.62 was raised with funds donated to local charity, Glasgow Women's Aid.

The UNITE to End Violence against Women and Girls initiative is a multi-year effort to prevent and eliminate violence against women and girls around the world.

During our Scottish Cup Fourth Round tie against Partick Thistle players warmed up in specially designed t-shirts. The t-shirts highlighted a number of statistics in relation to violence against women and girls across the globe and were signed by the first team squad with all profits from sales donated to Glasgow Women's Aid.

Additional funds were raised at our home match against Rangers on Sunday 15th December, with all matchday club shop profits going to support vulnerable women and girls in the city we call home.

Thank you for your support, the last few t-shirts are available to purchase here.

Our partnership with Glasgow Women's Aid will continue into 2025 as we work together to make the world a safer and more equal place for all girls and women.
