We are delighted to confirm that Glasgow City will be returning to Petershill Park on Sunday 22nd September as we welcome Hibernian to the city we call home.
After a summer where significant investment has been made, both on the pitch and off it, we return to Glasgow for the first time in the 2024/25 Scottish Women's Premier League season and would love to have you there to help us celebrate.
With this in mind we are offering free tickets to local community football teams, university sports teams and friends and family of our Academy sides; with academy players, the future of our club, already entitled to free season tickets for the 2024/25 campaign.
On returning home Chief Executive Laura Montgomery had the following to say:
'I am very happy that we are now able to return to play our football in the city we call home. The installation of a new surface ensures that we, and all those who use the facility at Petershill, have one of the best in Scotland and we will continue to work with the Partick Thistle Charitable Trust to provide a stadium that we can be proud of.'
'I would like to take this opportunity to thank supporters who have followed the side as we navigated the challenges that the opening weeks of the season have brought. Your support is as appreciated today as it ever has been and I encourage all fans, new and old, to join us for what we hope to be a special day.'
If you run a community football team or university sports team and want to join us on our return then contact chris.marshall@glasgowcityfc.co.uk with your team details to find out how to claim your free tickets.
For Academy players, friends and family please contact sarah.crilly@glasgowcityfoundation.org to find out how to claim your free tickets.
Tickets can be purchased here with kick off at 1pm.
We cannot wait to welcome you back to Peasy and we hope to make it a memorable occasion for all who attend.
