Glasgow City are delighted to announce the signing of South African midfielder Aliyaah Allie.
The 18 year old joins the club as a product of the JVW Football Club Academy, run by former City defender Janine Van Wyk.
Allie is a youth International for South Africa at U17 and U20 level and will wear the number 20 shirt.
Aliyaah Allie said on joining Glasgow City:
“I’m excited to have signed my first pro-contract with Glasgow City. The team and staff have all been very welcoming and I’ve been enjoying every moment at training, on the pitch and off.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to continue to grow and develop my football further here at Glasgow City!”

We are excited to provide her with this opportunity and feel she will develop quickly and add depth to the squad.”
Allie is eligible to be in the squad to face Hibernian in the SWPL tonight.
