After becoming the first side in Europa Cup history to be pulled from the hat, we have been drawn against Irish side Athlone Town A.F.C in the First Qualifying Round of the newly created UEFA Women's Europa Cup.
The Irish champions, competing in Europe for the first time, defeated Cardiff City 4-0 and Croatian title winners Agram 3-0 in the First Qualifying Round of the Champions Path earlier this season.
In the Second Qualifying Round they were drawn against Icelandic side Breiðablik, falling to a 3-1 defeat in their semi-final tie but in their Europa Cup play-off tie secured an impressive 2-0 victory over Serbian champions Crvena zvezda.
Now in their maiden campaign we will face the 2024 Women's National League winners over two legs with details on the ties due to be played below:
First Leg, Wednesday 10th September 2025 - KO 19:35
Glasgow City v Athlone Town, Petershill Park
Second Leg, Wednesday 17th September 2025 - KO 19:30
Athlone Town v Glasgow City, Athlone Town Stadium
