This Sunday, Glasgow City return as we host Celtic in the Fourth Round of the Scottish Gas Women's Scottish Cup. Having defeated Partick Thistle in the previous round we once again face SWPL opposition as we continue our quest to claim a first Scottish Cup since 2019.
Last Time Out
It was a disappointing afternoon in Edinburgh last Sunday as three first half goals saw us fall to a 3-1 defeat away to Hibernian with Brenna Lovera scoring the City reply.
Celtic moved up to second in the Scottish Women's Premier League table midweek thanks to a 6-0 win over Queen's Park at Ochilview.
Scottish Cup Journey So Far
In the third round an early strike from Lisa Evans looked to have set the tone but a second half penalty from Cara Henderson levelled the scores.
However a quick response from Emily Whelan and a Natalia Wróbel goal secured our passage to the fourth round with a 3-1 victory over Brian Graham's side.
Celtic secured their spot with a 13-0 victory away to SWF Championship side Glasgow Women.
