Ahead of what will be a crucial qualifier for the Scotland Women's National Team Glasgow City and our Preferred Pizza Supplier Nonna Said are coming together to host an SWNT Watch Party as the national side travel to Helsinki to face Finland in the second leg of their Euro 2025 Qualifying Playoff Final on Tuesday 3rd December.
As a club we are proud of the impact we have had, and continue to have, on the national side with both Lee Gibson and Lisa Evans key members of the squad which defeated Hungary 5-0 on aggregate in the previous round.
But it is not just the international stars of Scotland that currently represent The Original Trailblazers with rising stars of the Finnish game Sofia Määttä and Wilma Forsblom also amongst our squad as both nations look to secure a Euro 2025 spot.
Carol Anne Stewart, Glasgow City Commercial Manager who set up the partnership was delighted to see it continue to blossom.
''We are passionate about growing a community that supports the growth of women's football in Scotland and are delighted to continue to build on our relationship with Nonna Said on what we hope will be a successful night for the game.''
Bookings for the event which will include party platters for advance table bookings, prizes and a half-time Q&A with a member of the Glasgow City squad can be made via the Nonna Said website now: https://nonnasaid.com/book/.
