Glasgow City eased into the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup as they saw off SWPL2 side Kilmarnock 3-0 at Rugby Park.
First half goals from Kinga Kozak and Jenna Clark were added to by a Reese McCulloch own goal in the second half as City booked their first trip to Hampden Park.
City made three changes from the team which defeated Glasgow Women with Chloe Warrington, Mairead Fulton and Lisa Forrest replacing Miracle Porter, Linda Motlhalo and Lauren Davidson.
The away side started well and were ahead early when Emily Whelan was brought down in the box by Chloe McCance. Up stepped Kozak and she sent Lauren McGregor the wrong way as the ball nestled neatly in the bottom corner.
It could’ve been two moments later when Whelan cut it back for Megan Foley in space but she blasted over the bar.
City did have the ball in the net again when a lovely move saw Kozak played through before slipping the ball wide to Forrest to score into an empty net but the flag was up for offside.
They didn’t have to wait much longer for a second though as Fulton’s free kick found Clark to tap home at the far post.
Fulton then looked to go from provider to scorer as she was fed the ball on the edge of the area by Forrest but strike on the turn went over the bar.
After the break, substitute Abbi Grant drove forward and her shot from the edge of the area grazed the post before Forrest had a snapshot from the penalty spot saved.
Killie’s best chance came just before the hour when Kirsty Munro was played through but her shot from the edge of the are was well saved by Erin Clachers.
Forrest then had another chance to increase the lead after a deflected cross broke to her in the box but her header was well saved.
Warrington was the architect for the third as she twisted and turned before crossing the ball from the right and forcing McCulloch to try and deal with it by the Killie defender could only deflect it past the keeper and into her own goal.
City did have chances late on as Grant and fellow sub Sarah Gibb had shots from the edge of the area but McGregor was equal to them.
