Hayley Lauder extends Glasgow City stay through to 2025

Glasgow City are delighted to announce that Hayley Lauder has signed a new two year contract extension with the club.

Lauder’s new deal will take her time at the club to over a decade, having made 193 appearances, the 9th most in City history, since joining at the end of 2014 from Swedish side Vittsjö.

Lauder has won nine trophies in her time at the club so far including six Scottish Women’s Premier League titles. She has also scored 71 goals during her time with the club including three this season.

A Scotland capped centurion, Lauder has continued to play a pivotal role at the club this season including a last minute winner against Celtic back in October.

Commenting on the new deal, Lauder said:

“I’m delighted to extend my contract with the club. It’s been a privilege to represent City for so long and I’m proud of what the club has achieved so far both on and off the pitch. The last 8 years have been incredible and I’m excited to continue with Leanne and the team”.

Head Coach Leanne Ross said:

“We have been extremely fortunate to have a player of Hayley's talents at Glasgow City for many years now. She has been a hugely important and influential player, driving standards and delivering top level performances and silverware season after season.

“Hayley is a leader, role model and an ultimate professional, everything I look for in a Glasgow City player. I am delighted she has extended her contract with us and look forward to continuing to work with her over the seasons to come.”
