The points were shared at Meadowbank Stadium this afternoon as Glasgow City were held to a 2-2 draw with Hibernian.
We had taken the lead after only eight minutes through Kimberley Smit's powerful header, before the hosts took a 2-1 lead into half-time through Eilidh Adams and Kathleen McGovern goals.
An improved second-half display saw City ensure a point on the board as Nicole Kozlova netted a low drive just half the hour mark to make it 2-2.
Inside the opening five minutes, City goalkeeper Lee Gibson made a superb stop with her feet to deny Rosie Livingstone when she looked to bury a rebound from Eilidh Adams.
And we went right up the other end and forced Hibs' shot-stopper into a save, with Brenna Lovera teeing up Emily Whelan and winning a corner as a result. It was from that set-piece that we took the lead as Smit headed home from inside the box.
We almost doubled our lead soon after from another corner, whipped in by Lauder, Lovera was there to meet it this time and her header was almost deflected into the back of the net by a Hibs player, but goalkeeper Noa Schumacher was there to claim it.
With just over 10 minutes left to be played in the first half, the home side found the equaliser. Ciara Grant floated a free-kick into the box, and Adams found the back of the net with a headed effort to make it 1-1.
Hibs took the lead in injury time in the first half and it came from another Grant delivery. The ball then fell to Livingstone, who sent it back into a dangerous area, teeing McGovern up for the finish from close range.
In the second half, City showed good intent and it paid off just after the hour mark when Kozlova made it 2-2. She was picked out by a Samantha van Diemen pass, turned and fired it into the back of the net beyond Schumacher.
We continued to apply pressure in the dying stages with substitute Lisa Forrest seeing her effort held by Schumacher after Lovera failed to get a shot away inside a crowded box, but could not find the winner as it finished in a draw.
