Katie Lockwood believes if we stick to our Glasgow City principles then business will take care of itself when we host Rangers at Petershill Park on Wednesday night.
We host Jo Potter's side sitting top of the SWPL table thanks to our 4-0 win against Motherwell on Sunday afternoon.
That was a game where the English midfielder bagged a brace, with goals in the first and second half, and one she hopes will bring the team even more good momentum heading into the midweek action.
"Coming into the Motherwell game, three points were what we needed and we got them," Lockwood said. "We need to do our recovery now and come back fighting on Wednesday.
"We know it's another big game. Rangers are a tough side. They're going to bring a lot of energy and move the ball well.
"We just need to keep bringing what we bring and trust ourselves to go and play the Glasgow City way because that is what is going to get us over the line."
Against Motherwell, City head coach Leanne Ross made five changes to her starting XI from our previous SWPL outing. There were also a number of changes made throughout.
To have such squad depth, Lockwood says, can play an important role during such a busy and decisive period of the season. Whether they are a starter or a finisher, the midfielder knows every player is ready to play their part.
"We've got a really good squad and it's great that we can use everyone," Lockwood said. "Coming into these three-game weeks, it makes a massive difference.
"Leanne is big on that we win, draw or lose together. If you're in the stands, on the bench or in the starting XI, everyone is playing their part week in and week out.
"We train hard and make each other better. That's the main thing. We've got a good squad here and it is going to take everyone we've got if we're going to achieve what we want to achieve."
Lockwood will come into the Rangers game feeling especially confident after she was named in the starting XI against Motherwell and reaped her reward with two well-taken goals.
"It's good to be out there with the girls," Lockwood says. "I'm glad I could help the team with the goals.
"It gives you a lot of confidence going into the next one. I'm excited to go again on Wednesday night."
