A number of our talented young players from our Academy are currently out on loan across the Scottish game. With the season having paused for the last 10 days because of the international break, we reflected on how our youngsters are performing...
Cara Gray, Mia Scott and Eva McKean - Kilmarnock
After spending last season on loan at Rugby Park, ending her campaign with being named the SWPL 2 Player of the Month award for May, forward Cara has enjoyed an impressive start to this term back with Kilmarnock.
The 17-year-old has contributed heavily to a high-flying Kilmarnock side, who sit five points clear and unbeaten at the top of the SWPL 2 table after eight games played.
Cara has scored six goals in the league, is currently SWPL 2's joint top scorer and her form earned her the SWPL 2 Player of the Month award for September.

Her performances also saw her called up to the Scotland U19s squad during this international window when they faced Slovakia in a double-header.
Also in Killie's ranks are City's Mia Scott and Eva McKean, with both regularly involved in matchday squads for the top-of-the-table Ayrshire side.
Oluwadara Ositelu - Queen's Park
Having gained her first involvement with City's senior team during pre-season, Dara has grasped the opportunity of being sent out on loan at Queen's Park.
She has made six SWPL 2 appearances for The Spiders, scoring twice. She has also been involved with Scotland's U17s and netted her first hat-trick for her country in a match against Finland.
Despite being only 16 years old, it has been noted how impressively Dara has adapted to the demands of senior football during this first-half of the season.
Rachel Murchie - Spartans
Also in SWPL 2, forward Rachel has contributed to a solid start for Spartans, who will be looking to win promotion back to the SWPL at the first time of asking.

During the first round of fixtures, she has featured regularly, either in the starting XI or coming off the bench as the Edinburgh side sit third in the league, level on points with second-placed Boroughmuir Thistle.
Aoibhe Toner and Zoe Mooney - Stirling University
City duo Aoibhe and Zoe are currently gaining valuable experience with Stirling University, as the club look to find their feet in the division after promotion from the SWF Championship.
Zoe has started every game at centre-back, where she is being challenged regularly, whilst after starting the campaign injured, Aoibhe has returned to fitness and has gone on to play 90 minutes in every match she has featured.

Both players have featured for our U20s programme this season, most recently in a win over Irish side St Patrick's Athletic at Petershill Park.
Charlotte Gates - Rossvale
Making the step up to training with our first team and goalkeepers Lee Gibson, Erin Clachers and Ava Easdon, Charlotte has also been enjoying a taste of senior football whilst on loan in the Championship with Rossvale.
Last season's Academy U17s Player of the Year has been playing regularly as her loan club sit mid-table with 17 points after 10 games played.
