Last Time Out
City made a dominant start, controlling possession and pinning Thistle back before taking the lead in the 32nd minute through Emma's well-timed diving header from a pinpoint delivery by Mebs.
The hosts applied more pressure after half-time, but City soon regained control and continued to build momentum. Persistence paid off midway through the second half when Linda surged down the wing and delivered a driven cross that found the net via a deflection, sealing a 2-0 victory for City.
Previous Meeting
Our last fixture against Celtic saw City earn a hard-fought 1-1 draw at New Douglas Park.
The hosts struck just before the hour mark, with City continuing to push strongly. Lee made vital saves to keep the deficit at one, while Kim performed a crucial tackle to deter the hosts from doubling their lead.
As we continued to press for an equaliser, the breakthrough arrived on the 81st minute when Nat unleased a strike that flew straight into the back of the net.
