Match Preview: Glasgow City v Rangers

Match Preview: Glasgow City v Rangers

We are back at The Peasy for our final ScottishPower Women's Premier League match of the season, aiming to finish on a high with victory against Rangers this Sunday.

Last Time Out

City created the best of the early chances through Abi Harrison, Emily Whelan and Kimberley Smit, though none found the net.

Despite a dominant first half, the hosts stepped up the pressure, while we utilised fresh legs from the bench with Lisa Forrest and Emily poaching a breakthrough.

A fast paced closing spell saw end-to-end action, but the game would end goalless as the points were shared.

Previous Meeting

It was victory in the Sky Sports Cup Final the last time the two sides faced each other as a Lisa Forrest double saw us lift the trophy.

The scores ended even the last time the sides faced each other at The Peasy as Calliste Brookshire's late strike cancelled out City's well worked opener.
