Match Summary - Glasgow City 3-0 Motherwell

We extended our unbeaten run to eight games as goals from Yuuka Kurosaki, Kelly Brady and a first in the ScottishPower Women's Premier League for Ruby Seaby saw us claim a comfortable 3-0 victory over Motherwell at a sunny Petershill Park.

It would be a game which we dominate from the start and after a couple of efforts from range missed the target the deadlock would be broken with sixteen minutes on the clock. Abi Harrison holding the ball up well to lay off for Yuuka to drive home from the edge of the area.

That lead would be doubled four minutes later when the lively Ruby flashed a ball across the box allowing Kelly to knock it home from close range for her fifth league goal of the season.

The first half pressure continued and after an Emily Gray effort curled just wide it would be Ruby and Kelly teaming up again although on this occasion it would be the New Yorker on hand for the assist as Ruby notched her second goal of the campaign and her first in the Scottish top flight.

That half-time advantage allowed Head Coach Leanne Ross to rotate the squad during the first of three games at The Peasy this week with Motherwell goalkeeper Kayla Scott doing well to deny both Emily's, Gray and Whelan, while Lee Gibson did well to smother a Carla Boyce effort on her way to securing another clean sheet for the club.

The second half would see no further goals though as a comfortable afternoon in the sun was completed.

Next up the visit of Rangers and we want you there with us every step of the way.
