Glasgow City sadly advise that defender Kenzie Weir ruptured her Anterior Cruciate Ligaments during Sunday's match with Hibernian.
The 20-year-old defender, who has been on a season long loan from Everton, was substituted on the stroke of half time and underwent assessment on Monday, which confirmed the extent of her injury.
She will now undergo surgery and will return to her parent club for rehabilitation.
Weir has made a great impact to the club on and off the pitch this season and everyone at Glasgow City wishes her the very best with her recovery.
