Once City, Always City: Former Players to Join Us for Sporting CP

When we host Sporting CP in the UEFA Women's Europa Cup Round of 16 on Wednesday night, it will see the squads of past and present unite, with a number of our former players set to play a part in our pre-match presentation.

Ger Watson and Kirstin Abercrombie, who are part of the Class of '98 - our very first squad, will join Sue Lappin, Jo Love, Emma Fernon, Abbi Grant, Sarah Crilly and Fiona Brown, who all reached the Champions League quarter-finals during their respective spells with City, at the Peasy.

Our former players will help raise the banner that reads "Well-behaved Women Seldom Make History" that was debuted in our last round victory against HB Køge.

In an act which truly exemplifies our motto: "Once City, Always City", we hope to bring together the people who helped make this club what it is with the team of today on an occasion where more history can be made.

Join our former players at Petershill on Wednesday night by getting your ticket to our clash against Sporting CP on Fanbase now!
