Glasgow City got back to winning ways midweek with a 2-1 win over Hearts at K Park with goals from Amy Muir and Sofia Määttä enough to secure victory.
Hearts had equalised through a Lisa Robertson penalty in an incident which saw City play the second half with ten following Kimberley Smit's red card but a tireless display from the first whistle to last secured victory.
On the same evening Partick Thistle picked up their first league win of the season thanks to a 2-1 win away to Spartans. Early goals from summer signings Tiree Burchill and Caley Gibb had Brian Graham's side in charge before a Hannah Jordan goal just after the hour ensured a tight finish to the game.
