Glasgow City are looking for your support, less than three weeks away from the UEFA Women’s Champions League Quarter Final v Wolfsburg, which will take place in Spain as a mini-tournament due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Instead of the original two leg tie, which should have seen City supporters at Petershill Park for the home game in March, the closing stages of the competition has a condensed format with our now single leg match against the German champions taking place on Friday 21st of August at the Anoeta Stadium in San Sebastian. The match will be behind closed doors with no supporters.
Kick off is at 5pm (UK) with coverage on BBC Alba along with extensive coverage remotely from our own media team including live Twitter updates during the game, English radio commentary and exclusive interviews.
While City supporters can watch/listen on, we are looking still for our 12th player by getting involved and supporting the club.
The lockdown has been challenging and we appreciated the number of fans donating their original match ticket fee to the club. In our club shop you can now purchase virtual ticket donations for the match v Wolfsburg. We appreciate your support during this continued challenging time. You can purchase your ticket(s) from our club shop here and they cost £5.
We are also looking for you to show your City colours on matchday itself on our Twitter or Insta stories. You could be in your City top or go big and make home made banners! Whatever it is - share your photos or videos using the hashtag #PetershillRoarAtHome to us via @glasgowcityfc on twitter or @glasgowcityfc Insta DM/stories
