The Scottish Women’s Premier League returns this Wednesday as we welcome Dundee United to Petershill Park.

After our European games last Thursday and Sunday, our SWPL meeting with Dundee United was moved back to this midweek.

The Opposition:
Dundee United won the Scottish Women’s Premier League 2 title comfortably last season to earn promotion to the top flight for the first time since they were formed in 2016.
Head Coach Graeme Hart brought in players with SWPL experience over the summer including goalkeeper Fiona McNicoll and defender Claire Delworth.
Striker Danni McGinley won the SWPL2 Player of the Year award last season.

This is the first meeting between Glasgow City and Dundee United.
Form Guide:
Dundee United have enjoyed life in the top flight so far and are unbeaten following their first two matches. An opening day draw against Motherwell was followed up by a 4-0 victory away at Glasgow Women with four different players on the scoresheet.
City scored seven on the opening day before a 97th minute header from Jenna Clark secured victory against Motherwell to make it two SWPL wins from two. The last two games saw City suffer defeat to AS Roma and Servette.
