We are delighted to announce the signing of winger Ruby Seaby, who joins the club on a three-year contract.
The 19-year old arrives in Glasgow after a spell with Ipswich Town, where she also gained experience during a loan stint at Lewes. Seaby has represented England at youth level, earning caps from Under-14 through to Under-17.
A product of Arsenal's academy, Ruby established herself as one of the club's brightest attacking prospects, recording nine goals and eight assists for the Gunners' Under-21 side. Now she makes the move up north as she begins the next chapter of her career.
On signing for Glasgow City, Ruby said:
"I'm very excited to get started, buzzing to be here. I've heard a lot of good things about the league and I think it's going to push me physically and technically, so I'm excited to test myself."
Quote from Glasgow City Head Coach Leanne Ross on signing Ruby:
"Ruby is an exciting young player and I'm really excited to bring her exuberance to the squad.
She has pace, is direct with the ball and is also hungry to assist and score goals, bringing the exact qualities that we look for in an attacking player."
