We are back for 2026! We begin the year with a Glasgow derby in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup, hosting SWPL 2 side Queen's Park at Petershill Park.
In the first match of a huge month ahead, which will see us play four games across three different competitions, we will be looking to book our place in the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup.
Last Time Out
We progressed to the fourth round of the Scottish Cup thanks to a 3-0 win against Motherwell in the previous stage at the Peasy back in December.
After a goalless first half, Natalia Wróbel opened the scoring just before the hour mark, before Amy Anderson and Nicole Kozlova added two more to round off proceedings.
The last time City were in action was our final SWPL match of 2025, as we defeated Hearts 1-0 at Oriam thanks to a superb diving header from Kozlova in the second half.
Previous Meeting
Our last encounter with The Spiders came back during the 2024/25 season when Queen's Park were then playing in the top-flight.
It finished 6-1 to City at Ochilview, with Kozlova netting a hat-trick, midfielder Hayley Lauder bagging a brace and a goal for Katie Lockwood.
We have met this weekend's opposition twice before in the Scottish Cup, with the most recent clash being in January 2022 when we prevailed with an emphatic 9-0 win at home.
On the scoresheet that day were Lauren Davidson (2), Aoife Colvill (2), Priscilla Chinchilla, Megan Foley, Clare Shine, Vital Kats and Lauder.
