We booked our place in the Scottish Cup semi-finals at Hampden as we defeated Stenhousemuir 2-0 at Petershill in the quarter-finals.
Sofia Määtta set us on our way after 21 minutes, before Abi Harrison made it 2-0 in the 30th minute, which was enough to secure our progression to the last four of the cup.
Match Action from Petershill Park
On a cold and rain afternoon against Stenny, there was a debut appearance for on-loan defender Codie Thomas, and full debuts for Lydia Sallaway and Emily Gray, who both made their first starts in this Scottish Cup clash.
It was also a milestone appearance for goalkeeper Erin Clachers, who was playing her 100th game for Glasgow City.
We would dominate possession in the early stages, but it would take almost 10 minutes for us to register our first shot, and it was a long-range effort from Erín McLaughlin which dropped on to the roof of the net.

Our next opportunity came from a Natalia Wróbel corner, which Emma Brownlie connected with at the back post, but hit her strike wide of the target.
Visiting goalkeeper Skye Johnston made a great save to deny Wróbel the opener soon after, with our No.10 unleashing a strike inside the box after receiving the ball from Lisa Forrest.
Our lead would arrive in the 21st minute through Määttä, who slotted the ball into the back of the net after it had landed at her feet when goalkeeper Johnston had parried a Forrest cross into her path.
It would be 2-0 by the half-hour mark as Harrison fired the ball into the back of the net after connecting with a Määttä pass from down the left flank.
After we doubled our advantage, Stenny hit us on the break and looked to get one back, but Kyla Thomson's strike from outside the box failed to trouble Clachers in the City goal, as it sailed over.
In the second half, our best chance fell to half-time substitute Louisa Boyes, who was clear through on goal but saw her effort saved by Johnston, before Forrest had her strike blocked by the Stenny defence from the resulting corner.
That was until substitute Emily Whelan saw her shot come off the bar after she burst into the area and got on the end of the cut-back.
Whelan had the ball in the back of the net moments later after being played through by a fantastic through pass from Forrest, but it was ruled out for offside.

The Petershill crowd were celebrating a third inside the final 20 minutes, but it was again ruled out for offside after a long delay, with Brownlie this time being the player to tap the ball into the back of the net.
We continued to push to extend our advantage, with Linda Motlhalo unleashing a strike from outside the box that was saved by an alert goalkeeper Johnston.
