An avalanche of late strikes in the first half would help Glasgow City to a comfortable win over Dundee United as they ran out 6-0 winners at Petershill Park this afternoon.
Goals from Meikayla Moore (38, 40), Linda Mothalo (45), Aoife Colvill (63, 90) and Sophia Martin (75) would seal City's second win of the week.
Head coach Leanne Ross re-introduced Linda Motlhalo, Lauren Davidson and Brenna Lovera to the starting line-up following Wednesday's 5-0 win over Hamilton.
Meikayla Moore almost nodded City into a very early lead when she connected to Mairead Fulton's corner but her header would trickle narrowly wide of the post, while Lovera would see her goal-bound header scrambled off the line shortly afterwards.
Aleigh Gambone would be the next to go close when she drove at goal after a lovely little one two but her shot would be dragged narrowly wide.
Lovera would go close again on the 20 minute mark when she was played through on goal but the American lifted her shot an inch to high and United could breathe again.
City would hit the bar twice within a minute shortly after the half hour mark when Linda Motlhalo's drive from distance was tipped on the post by Meach - Lovera would then cannon a header off the bar from the following corner.
The deadlock would be broken shortly afterwards, however, when Lovera's header would cannon back off the crossbar but was touched home by Moore - and would would team up with Lovera once again as a moment later in similar fashion to double the lead seconds later.
Davidson's long range free kick would be blocked by the wall shortly afterwards but a stunning curling drive from Motlhalo from the loose ball would add our third.
Stunning interplay between Kozak and Gambone saw the ball laid off to Lovera who fired just wide moments before the hour mark.
A triple substitution would immediate dividends when Colvill came off the bench to score with her first touch - something that delighted the crowd after her long injury lay off.
Martin would make it five with quarter of an hour to go when she nodded home an excellent corner and Colvill would do the same as she headed home's City sixth.
