Sky Sports Cup Preview: Glasgow City v Celtic

Following an eventful week at The Peasy and the postponement of our Partick Thistle fixture, it's back to cup business as we host Celtic on Sunday for the Sky Sports Cup quarter-final.

BE PART OF OUR JOURNEY AS WE CONTINUE THE DEFENCE OF THE SKY SPORTS CUP!!

Last Time Out

It was a frustrating night at The Peasy for Glasgow City as we led through Kelly Brady at the break but were denied by a Rangers comeback in the second half.

Previous Meeting

Opening day at The Peasy saw Lisa Forrest open the scoring with Kelly Brady, Jesi Rossman and Ruby Seaby mark their City debuts. However, Celtic responded with two goals to take the lead.

Our Sky Sports Cup journey so far

We began the 2026/27 campaign in emphatic fashion, recording a 8-0 victory over Livingston at the Home of the Set Fare Arena.

An Emily Gray hat-trick, Ruby Seaby's first competitive goal for the club and strikes from Linda Motlhalo, Sofia Määttä and Emily Whelan ensured City made the perfect start to the campaign.
