A familiar foe returns to Petershill Park this weekend, as we host Aberdeen for the second weekend in a row, this time in the quarter-finals of the Sky Sports Cup.
The visit of the Dons is the first of back-to-back cup clashes at the Peasy, with Portuguese giants Sporting CP making the trip to Springburn next Wednesday in the UEFA Europa Cup Round of 16. Don't risk missing out and secure your tickets for that match now!
Last Time Out
Leanne Ross and her side will be looking to make it two straight wins against Aberdeen when they meet in the cup, having defeated the same opposition 5-0 in the SWPL last weekend.
It took 40 minutes for the opener to arrive, but went into the break 2-0 up thanks to goals from Nicole Kozlova and Sofia Määttä, who netted our second in first-half injury time.
We would add three more after the restart, with Lana Golob, Mebae Tanaka and Lisa Forrest all getting themselves on the scoresheet.
Previous Meeting
We don't have to look too far back for our last match against the Dons, having played them just last weekend in that aforementioned 5-0 league win.
Our last match against Aberdeen in the League Cup took place back in the 2022/23 season when we also claimed a 5-0 win.
Priscilla Chinchilla opened the scoring late on in the first half, before a second-half brace from Lauren Davidson, as additional goals from Emily Whelan and Meikayla Moore secured safe passage to the next round of that season's competition.
