We get our Sky Sports Cup campaign underway this weekend as we make the trip to face Hamilton Academical in the second round.
Despite being only six weeks into the season, this is the fourth competition we will have featured in already after our involvement in the Scottish Women's Premier League, UEFA Champions League and the Europa Cup.
Last Outing
Ahead of our cup clash with Accies, we were on the road in the league in midweek against Hibernian at Meadowbank.
We continued our unbeaten start to the league campaign after coming from 1-0 down to claim a point against the reigning league champions, with Katie Lockwood netting our equaliser.
With City entering the Sky Sports Cup in the second round, our last match in the competition was last season when we went out at the quarter-final stage following an away defeat to Celtic via a penalty shootout.
Previous Meeting
Our last meeting with this weekend's hosts was only three weeks ago, also at New Douglas Park. In the league fixture, Natalia Wróbel's first goal of the season proved to be the match-winner in the 1-0 win.
