We can confirm that forward Sophia Martin has joined fellow Scottish Women's Premier League side Montrose on loan for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.
The 17-year-old striker, who in 2023 became the youngest Scottish female to sign professional terms, scored her first City goal in a Sky Sports Cup Quarter Final against Glasgow Women in 2022 and has gone on to represent the Original Trailblazers on 21 occasions, scoring three times.
Sophia has been a regular member of the matchday squad this term and featured as a substitute against Queen's Park in November.
A Scotland youth international, she will join Academy prospect Rachel Murchie at Links Park for what will be a competitive second half of the campaign for the Angus side.
Contracted until the summer of 2026, everyone at the club is excited to see Sophia continue her development with regular first-team action in the Scottish top flight.
