We can confirm that forward Sophia Martin has joined fellow Scottish Women's Premier League side Montrose on loan for the 2025/26 season.
The 18-year-old striker, who in 2023 became the youngest Scottish female to sign professional terms, scored her first goal for The Original Trailblazers in 2022 during a Sky Sports Cup Quarter Final against Glasgow Women and has gone on to represent the Original Trailblazers on 21 occasions, scoring three times.
After being a regular member of the first team squad in the first half of the 2024/25 campaign Sophia made the move to Links Park in January of this year.
She would make 13 appearances for Craig Feroz's side scoring on four occasions, including the opener on the final day of the season as Montrose secured their top flight status with a 4-0 victory over Dundee United.
A Scotland youth international, Sophia will continue to benefit from full-time training and staff support during her loan spell and we look forward to seeing her talents flourish in the season to come.
