A return to the Peasy saw City deliver a dominant performance against Spartans, running out a 7-0 victory after controlling the match from start to finish. Kelly Brady opened the scoring early on before a Lisa Forrest hat-trick put City firmly in command, with Abi Harrison and Emily Whelan completing the scoring in an emphatic victory.

We started on the front foot and threatened inside the opening two minutes, Sofia Määttä picked out Kelly Brady charging down the wing, and Brady's cross found Lisa Forrest in the box where her effort drifted wide of the post.
Spartans attempted to impose themselves with a physical approach, but City remained composed and continued to dominate territory in the attacking half.
City's pressure paid off in the seventh minute when Kelly Brady found the back of the net to hand us an early lead.
Jesi Rossman then drove forward from one of the end of the pitch to the other before releasing Lisa on the wing. Lis powered into the box and got a shot away, but her effort was gathered comfortably by Alicia Yates. Moments later, Emily Whelan whipped a dangerous cross into the area which narrowly skimmed over the head of Tia Primmer.
Jesi looked to double City's advantage with a long range effort, but Yates was equal to it, collecting the strike safely.
City remained in control and extended their lead in the 31st minute. Lis showed great composure to slot her shot behind the keeper and, less than a minute later, struck again to complete a quickfire brace to make it 3-0.
Lis continued to cause problems from set pieces, delivering another corner that found Amy Anderson, whose header was directed on target but held by Yates.
Spartans made their first meaningful venture into the City defence before Amy Muir, Jesi and Yana reacted quickly to shut down any opportunities. At the other end, Tia Primmer came close to adding a fourth before half-time, only to see her effort skim over the crossbar.
City made changes at the break, with Linda Motlhalo entering the action. Tia Primmer moved into the left-back position, while Amy Muir made way.
The second half began much like the first, with City immediately on the attack. Lisa completed her hat-trick in the 50th minute, finding the corner of the net to make it 4-0.
Before the hour mark, a triple substitution as Abi Harrison, Ruby Seaby and Lisa Evans replaced Kelly Brady, Lisa Forrest and Sofia Määttä.
The fresh legs almost made an instant impact. Ruby drove into the box and delivered a cross to Abi, whose first-time effort went narrowly wide.
City continued to dominate possession in the attacking half and pushed relentlessly in search of a fifth goal. Emily Gray was introduced in the 70th minute, replacing Ando.
Erin McLaughlin tried her luck from distance, but her effort was gathered by Yates. Spartans attempted to build attacks of their own, but Jesi was quick to regain possession and turn play back in City's favour.
The fifth goal eventually arrived in the closing stages when Abi applied the finishing touch from close range after a Lisa Evans assist to make it 5-0.
There was still time for more action. With less than five minutes remaining, Spartans conceded an own goal to give City their sixth. Emily Whelan then capped off a dominant display by netting in the final minute, sealing a convincing 7-0 victory and rounding off a superb afternoon for Glasgow City.
