Last Time Out
We dominated from the first whistle and took an early lead through Kelly Brady. Lisa Forrest then scored twice in quick succession before half-time to make it 3-0 and put City firmly in control. Lis completed her hat-trick shortly after the break as City continued to dictate possession and create chances throughout.
Substitutes added fresh energy, with Abi Harrison scoring late on before a Spartans own goal and a strike from Emily Whelan completed an emphatic 7-0 victory, capping a commanding all-round performance.
Previous Meeting
City started strong and created early chances through Natalia Wróbel and Emily Whelan while dominating possession and preventing Hibernian from building momentum. Despite City's control, Hibs took the lead at 29 minutes when Eilidh Adams converted a controversial penalty, before Kathleen McGovern doubled the advantage.
City responded immediately after the break, with substitutes Abi Harrison and Codie Thomas making an instant impact and scoring to level the match 2-2. However, with both sides pressing late on, Tegan Bowie sealed a dramatic injury-time winner for Hibernian on the counter attack.
